Scrumptious, high quality, yummy choices for a nutritious and satisfying brunch or lunch! My friend from Grad School days in the French Dept at Cal seek out French-themed places to meet halfway and enjoy great food and great company. This is our new spot! She takes Cal train to SF and I drive in from East Bay. Amazingly found street parking. Service was very gracious and accommodating. I had the Salade Niçoise - outstanding! Just as it is supposed to be, as I lived in Provence and know! My friend had the chicken tarragon sandwich which also was absolutely delicious! Portions were more than ample. Everything was so fresh and delicious, I can't recommend this little gem of a café enough! If you go to SF MOMA and want a quality lunch, just walk down the street a little way to discover this tiny but mighty gem!!

Absolutely delicious! Large portions and very friendly staff. I got the ham and Swiss croissant with the house salad and the salad had avocado, hard boiled eggs, roasted red peppers, cucumber, tomato and blue cheese crumbles. Would definitely recommend!

I'm completely obsessed with this place. The chicken Caesar salad is the best I've ever had. I get that and the smoked salmon tartine. I can't wait to go back. Yum!!!

This is my absolute favorite spot to get lunch when I worked downtown. They have the most amazing lunch offerings. inside there is a wonderful places to sit. It is a small café so seating is limited. It did remind me of being in Paris. Sandwiches are made fresh and to order and I absolutely just die for the ham with brie on a baguette. All the ingredients are fresh and the cashier is prompt and courteous . I always recommend Café de Soleil whenever anyone ask me what is the best spot to eat in the city.

Great spot for catered office sandwiches/salads with a more homey, fresh ingredients and honest practices unlike some of the corporate giants like Mendocino farms and sweet green. This place is worth the detour, the space is cozy but also inviting. Michael is incredibly friendly and accommodating, he strives to create the best dining experience possible. Half of a nicoise plus the prosciutto and Brie are my go togos. All the inputs are made with love and certainly are fresh. It's also very consistent. The value proposition exists despite being in downtown San Francisco.

I'll say that this is one of the best chicken salad sandwiches. I love all the fresh herbs and basil that's mixed in. The chicken is super juicy and tender. The only reason I didn't give was because of the bread. It was so hard and there was too much of it. Regardless I'd order this sandwich again. So yummy!! I did order the sandwich with avo which elevated the sandwich experience

The Yelp description got it pretty spot on! It's a cozy spot to eat a hearty salad, sandwich, or both! I got the Niçoise salad which I've never had before and it was quite yummy with the smoked salmon, hard boiled egg, green beans, and dill. My friend got the chicken orzo salad with a half sandwich and the portions were so large it looked like she got a full salad and full sandwich! The owner is so nice as well--I definitely recommend stopping here for a filling, yummy, and healthy lunch!

Very small, cute. Like the outdoor seating (which is very minimal btw) The server cashier guy is really really nice!! My bf said the roasted chicken sandwich was "pretty gas". This is crazy because he inhaled it like a wild bear was running down 3rd street to come snatch it out of his hands. Safe to say he loved it. The Caprese Tartine was DELICIOUS although a little hard to eat but I think that's a skill issue on my part . Wonderful food and atmosphere. Would def recommend giving this place a try!!

Food here is always plentiful and good. It's a small venue but there's a few tables inside and out. Cute place and owner is super friendly. Happy to support them and keep the business going as it's the best place close to my work! A little expensive but you get a lot!
